How our research mentorship works

Plan with us

Firstly, we will plan out what your goal is (for example: to explore an area, to publish in a journal, or to build something). Then we will find the right mentor and tailor the program to your time commitment.

Research

Once matched, our PhD and researcher mentors will help you make your research happen. Each week will include highly practical sessions that help make your project a success.

Publish

Once the project is completed, we will help you publish your work in the appropriate forums and get your work reviewed by experts in the field.

Over 8 sessions that are flexibly spaced, work with a mentor to develop a project. This can help you find a research idea or help you turn an existing idea into reality.

Long term mentorship

Get a top PhD student or researcher to mentor you for the long term - helping you develop multiple research projects and develop core research skills.

He was interested in doing biology research, so we had him meet researchers working on DNA editing tools and cancer

With his long term mentor Bryan, he wrote a literature review on DNA double strand break repair mechanisms

He was also interested in the research process in tech for product development, which led to a second project looking into how Uber could improve their UI. This was presented to Uber employees and he was mentored by a former product manager from there.
